You worked with these jobs in past classes. Let's see if you remember which is which.

Ustedes han estado viendo a estos trabajos en las clases pasadas. Veamos si se acuerdan cual es cual.

  • Activity 1: Match the jobs with the pictures.

When you finish ACTIVITY 1, we read the blog entries. In the blog, they say what they do in their jobs.

Cuando hayan terminado con la ACTIVITY 1, leemos las siguientes entradas de blog de estas personas. En el blog, ellos nos dicen que es lo que hacen en sus trabajos.

  • Activity 2: Select the jobs in the texts.
  • Actividad 2: Seleccionar los trabajos en los textos.

Alright, now we do a similar activity with the texts. Now we focus on the workplaces.

Muy bien, ahora hacemos una actividad similar con los textos. Ahora nos enfocamos en los lugares de trabajo.

  • Activity 3: Find the workplace in the texts. Write the workplace in the comments of this blog.
  • Actividad 3: Encontrar el lugar de trabajo en los textos. Escribir el lugar de trabajo en los comentarios de este blog.

When you finish Activity 3, do Activity 4.

  • Activity 4: Put the actions people MUST or MUSTN'T do in the jobs in the correct section. You can use the texts from before to help you.
  • Actividad 4: Poner las acciones que se DEBEN o NO DEBEN hacer en los trabajos en la sección correcta. Pueden usar los textos de antes para ayudarse.

  • Activity 5: Write TRUE (T) or FALSE (F). Only write the letter in the boxes. Correct the false sentences in the comments in this blog.

Can you see how "MUST" and "MUSN'T" work?

We use them to talk about Obligations (MUST) and Prohibitions (MUSTN'T).

Alright! Now we aren't doing an activity about jobs. It is an activity about what you MUST or MUSTN'T do at school. These are school rules.

Bien! Ahora no haremos una actividad  acerca de trabajos. Es una actividad acerca de lo que se DEBE o NO DEBE hacerce en la escuela. Estas son reglas de la escuela.

  • Activity 8: Write MUST or MUSTN'T about the sentences.
  • Actividad 8: Escribir MUST or MUSTN'T acerca de las oraciones.






Great! Now let's do something a little more fun for Activity 9.
Genial! Ahora hagamos algo un poco mas divertido para la Activity 9.

  • Activity 9: Find the words in the wordsearch. There are 3 jobs and 3 workplaces. You have to click the squares with the correct letters.
  • Actividad 9: Encontrar las palabras en la sopa de letras. Hay 3 trabajos y 3 lugares de trabajo. Tienen que hacer click en los casilleros con las letras correctas.
